Buggy Pitstop Come First for Servicing

Revolutionising the buggy and pushchair market, Buggy Pitstop have seen and filled a huge gap in the market and plan a nationwide expansion. Flying Start reviews the business from conception to future dreams.

Until recently, owners of a buggy, pushchair or car seat brought out of storage, or showing signs of daily wear and tear, were forced to either give it a quick wash down, or invest in a brand new version. These were the only options.

Until now.
Buggy Pitstop, “The Professional Buggy Valeting Company”  stepped up to the challenge of introducing another option by offering a service that leaves parents with a good-as-new pushchair, money in their pockets and a smile on their face.

They don’t just valet either, Buggy Pitstop carry out a host of repairs, supply parts to DIY parents and fix brand new parts to buggies and chairs from all major manufacturers, having one of the largest selections of spare parts for pushchairs in the UK.

Buggy Pitstops Origins

Buggy Pitstop is the brainwave of Mr Aziz Tayabali and was brought to life with a view of filling a huge gap in the pushchair, pram and buggy market.

With 15 years experience of running his own nursery business, Aziz experienced a revelation when a customer asked if their pushchair could be refurbished before the birth of her second child. The initial repair and valet was so successful that, by word of mouth from this one customer, Aziz received many requests for servicing and valeting to be undertaken.

When the economic downturn forced the closure of his previous business in 2009, Aziz and his wife decided to use this idea of buggy valeting as a new business plan. With hard work and persistence, Aziz managed to convince 14 different nursery shops, spread out over London, to become Pitstops for his new plan. Within two years, Buggy Pitstop have repaired and serviced over 2000 pushchairs and car-seats.

Now recommended by Bugaboo and authorised agents for Maclaren, Baby Jogger, Bebecar and Jane, they also offer servicing and valeting for Babyco, Chicco, Mamas and Papas, Micralite, Mountain Buggy and Phil and Ted.

Reactions from buggy owners have been tremendous, with numerous testimonials from satisfied customers who have all agreed Buggy Pitstops level of service has been outstanding. Even helping out  parents who work during the week by remaining open on weekends.

Buggy Pitstop’s most recent innovation is the Express Service. This is where customers can get their pushchair repaired and their chassis cleaned within an hour if they take it to Buggy Pitstop directly in Harrow. With a cost of only £35 plus parts, the Express Service has received 100% positive feedback from customers, like Jill, who had this to say:

“I’d heard about the great cleaning service that Buggy Pitstop provided through my friends, but was blown away with what you did with my Bugaboo Cameleon. I had to use your express service because my brake cable had broken whilst walking around John Lewis and I do not have a spare pushchair. The nice assistant in the store recommended your company, and gave me your telephone number. You not only repaired the brake in an hour but made my Bugaboo look like a brand new pushchair. I’m so impressed with this great idea and level of personal service you provided I will definitely join my friends and be recommending you too.”
