Finalists for UK’s Best Mummy and Daddy Blogs

The finalists of the second annual MAD Blog Awards that celebrate the best and brightest of the thriving parent blogging community have today been announced.

The 2011 MAD blog awards gave keen readers of parenting blogs the opportunity to nominate their favourite mummy and daddy bloggers of 2011 in 15 different categories. The awards are the second of their kind and are being held in association with Parentdish.co.uk.

Following the recent finalist announcement, the winners will be revealed in an awards ceremony that will be held in September 2011.

Sally Whittle, founder of the MAD Blog Awards and a parent blogger at Who’s the Mummy, said:
These bloggers have been chosen by the public as the best mummy and daddy bloggers in their field and I am already excited to see the results at the awards ceremony in September. Although being a parent is a great blessing, it can, at times, prove to be a challenge and as a result many parents seek a sense of support and guidance from these blogs.”

She continued,

The support, humour and friendships that these bloggers so freely offer are what landed them in the final. This is the second annual MAD blogs awards and I am confident that it will be an awards ceremony that continues to grow in popularity.”
